Romero Update
J.C. Romero pitched in a Minor League scrimmage game tonight between the Clearwater threshers and the Lakewood Blue Claws. Romero faced all righties and was a little wild to start. But settled down nicely and threw 1 1/3 innings. After the game he said he felt great and will probably be here for about another week. He seemed to be in good spirits

Catching prospect Sebastian Valle crushed a home run to left field, and Steve Susdorf also hit a homer to right. Prospect’s Jesus Sanchez, Christopher Kissock, and J.C. Ramirez all threw an inning each for the Threshers, while Brody Colvin pitched an inning for the Blue Claws.
